1892: Hanover Trolley line extended The Hanover and McSherrystown Street Railway organizes to transport passengers in the Hanover area.
The trolley line is extended 5.5 miles through Brushtown to Littlestown in 1908.
The trolley system, with its12 miles of track, reaches to Edgegrove and Conewago Chapel in Adams County two years later. During York Fair weeks, farm produce replaces passengers on some cars. Some passengers and produce travel from Littlestown near the Maryland border in Adams County to the York Fairgrounds.
